White supremacy intersects with many issues we face in our collective work for equitable public schools, a living wage, development without displacement, criminal justice reform, and other human rights. This training will provide us all with an anti-racist framework to combat the systemic racism we may encounter in the institutions we work within.
We know that when building a racial justice movement, we are stronger together so we invite you to take part in this day of training and anti-racist work with us.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Catalyst Project is a political education and movement building organization committed to doing anti-racist work with white people. While aspects of this training will be specifically geared for fighting racism within white communities, all are welcome to participate.
$0-$25 sliding scale donation. No one turned away for lack of funds. Proceeds will go to cover the cost of putting on the workshop. We strongly encourage those who have the means to donate more if they can to offset those who cannot and to support poor and working class leaders’ ability to fully participate in this program. You can donate using cash, check, or credit/debit card.
Lunch and childcare provided.
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED so we can adequately plan for space, food and childcare: https://goo.gl/2A2RTJ
